The Kickstart Scheme

The Kickstart Scheme provides funding to create new job placements for 16 to 24 year olds on Universal Credit who are at risk of long term unemployment. Employers can spread the start date of the job placements up until the end of December 2021.

funding for employers

100% of the National Minimum Wage or the National Living Wage depending on the age of the participant • 25 hours per week for a total of 6 months • Associated employer National Insurance contributions • Employer minimum automatic enrolment contributions

Training and Skills

Working in partnership with the DWP all candidates are fully screened and assessed for suitability purposes. As a training centre working across security industry standards, our Kickstart training program offers a learning package to maximises an individuals opportunity to be successful within the security industry.

The Program

The kickstart scheme is a placement program running for six months inclusive of training and upskilling of the individual. The program runs consecutively during 2021 with potentially the last placement ending around June/July 2022. More about the program.
