GTS Solutions is engaging with the government kickstart scheme. The scheme provides 18 -24-year olds with the opportunity to be fully trained prior to gaining invaluable experience through a placement within the Private Security industry.
Our Learning Package supports and maximises the learner’s capabilities through training and upskilling, thus allowing candidates the opportunity to further explore learning pathways specific to a career in the security industry.

The appropriate SIA licence allows you to work in the security industry. The training and placement will provide valuable experience and the opportunity for you to start a rewarding career in the security industry.  

The full SIA Security Officer Licence

• Training in Door Supervision and CCTV
• In addition, the learner will also receive training in Emergency First aid at Work, and Health and safety Level 1.

The learner will then be provided with work experience as a placement within a security based role , where they will gain invaluable experience and knowledge from industry professionals.

Opportunity to take further learning pathways are available where candidates can gain fully accredited qualifications.

The training takes place virtually, so we have to allow for the amount of time we are asking learners to stare at computer screens. This means, shorter days than usual with lots of breaks and time away from the screen, but spread over a larger number of days. You will require WIFI, a desktop/laptop, a quiet secured area free from distractions, and a smart phone. You will complete the majority of training form the comfort of your own home, and then be asked to attend our Edinburgh training centre to complete the face to face assessment element.
