What is ITA Funding?

ITA Funding is a Government initiative for those actively looking for work, but require skills, qualifications, or certifications to support their application and eligibility for the role.

 Skills Development Scotland strategic goals are to enable people and mobilise businesses as part of a share vision for Scotland employability sector.

Open until February or until 28,000 applications have been reached ITA funding helps support individuals back into work.

Do I Qualify for ITA Funding?

You could receive up to £200 towards a single course or training episode per year. ITA funding could be right for you if you’re: 

  • Aged 16 or over
  • Not in education or involved in any other SDS funded programme
  • Unemployed and looking to get back into work
  • Employed, earning less than £22,000 per year and looking to progress in or change your job
  • Resident in Scotland
